New Wuthering Heights on PBS

So we have seen it..........Are we thrilled, engaged, intrigued? Did chills go up our spines? Did the hairs stand up on the back of our necks? Did we FEEL? Did we feel the love, the agony, the suffering, the passion, the hatred, the confusion? Did the characters live, act for themselves and come alive? Was Emily proud?

My answers to all of these and more is NO NO NO. Do you find this valuable?

When will a decent movie of Wuthering Heights be made ? When will Emily's vision be honoured? Do you find this valuable?

Emily smiled when Charlotte read her the critical, negative reviews of Wuthering Heights. She must have known then what we few should know now: the herd mentality will never understand Wuthering Heights. And, since movies are made for the masses, that's just as it should be. Emily lived her life in 'secret pleasures, secret tears ...' Do you find this valuable?
